As a Family Officer of Hive, you will work closely with our Chairman and Founder David Gurlé. You will play a crucial role in determining the holding’s overall direct investment strategy. This role includes sourcing deal flow, managing the investments, and reporting investment results to our founder.
About the Company
La Royale Investments is a Singapore-based gaming holding consisting of 5 business segments:
- Online Gaming (TLF Entertainment): a European leader in online sports betting & gambling operating in regulated markets
- Fintech (TPF Bank): a digital banking & payment processing fintech, which processes ~€150m in gaming revenues a year and offers cross-border and e-commerce payment solutions
- Digital Marketing (Rainmaker Network): an advertising agency and affiliate marketing company specializing in the entertainment industry.
- Real Estate (La Royale Property Investments): which owns and rents several commercial and residential buildings in France, Malta and Portugal
- New initiatives (Holding): which invest in startups, most notably UnGox, a crypto marketplace & super-app co-founded with MtGox’s Mark Karpeles. The goal is to create a €100m venture fund to back more ambitious companies in the global entertainment and fintech sector.
Your responsibilities will span across these five business segments.
About the Role
So, what will you do as a Chief Investment Officer for our Holding company?
As our holding CIO, you will structure and execute a direct investment strategy according to our founder’s vision for his company.
As a single-family officer, you will also support new initiatives and set up wealth management processes including:
- Representation & Gatekeeping: You will coordinate the wealth ecosystem of our founder Joan Beaufort and be a point of contact for his entrepreneurial projects
- Allocation: You will help our CEO define his priorities and a strategic allocation of cash flows and execute a multi-asset investment strategy to enhance growth
- Deal Sourcing & Due Diligence: You will assist our external growth efforts by evaluating and maintaining a relevant pipeline of investment opportunities
